Rick McMillen has been a professional music engineer having toured extensively around the US and the world before settling down in his hometown of Portland to record music.

BS 1977 TeleCommunication - University of Oregon. Into acoustics, ProTools & electronic music production. "Been there done that" audio engineer. Played drums in orchestra, rock bands, and a bagpipe band. SuperDigital, CDPDX, & Cloud City Sound Studios are Rick's bad hobbies.

Engineered recordings from smooth jazz king Kenny G (Platinum) to punks Poison Idea (not even close to Platinum) over the last 25 years. Worked in London, NYC, Seattle, & LA studios. In the last couple years he mixed or mastered music for Franco & the Stingers, Floater, James Angell, VX-323, Valerie Day & Tom Grant, The Dandy Warhols, Michael Allen Harrison, & Muddy Award Winners the Rose City Kings.
