Superdigital is looking for a Creative Director to lead our Athlete & Influencer division. The CD will have the ability to strategize & conceptualize as well as bring emotionally charged content and design concepts to life in a way that inspires.
The right candidate has a digital/social first mindset (with experience managing and sourcing creative teams) who can also conceptualize and activate strategies that utilize content to drive ‘calls to action’ within target audiences.
Creative and Art Direct for (typically) Social Driven Campaigns:
- Generate the big idea across all digital executions;
- Direct creative team on high-level art and content creation;
- Know how to build and tell the stories the internet demands.
Influencer Brand Creative:
- Own the concepting and creation of brand guidelines;
- Guide the look and feel of talent website development;
- Know the latest design trends across all things brand.
Lead Merchandise Design for All E-Commerce Brands
- Maintain a strong, versatile network of freelance design talent;
- Generate on-brand merch design concepts;
- Work with team to develop merch calendars;
- Brief and guide merch concepts to completion.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee, hire, and develop team of innovative creators that deliver best-in-class, on-point creative to our clients; (perm and freelance) that work across all digital mediums (design, content, video).
- Bring a fresh perspective when concepting and executing across a variety of mediums and project types (including digital, social, video, print, branding, taglines, etc) that has the ability to resonate both internally and externally;
- Industry obsessed - have a pulse on digital trends and news... constantly challenging yourself and the team to elevate thinking and output beyond the traditional;
- Effortlessly change gears between brands, projects, and voices;
- Act as the new business strategic & creative pitch lead - presenting strategic creative concepts that generate excitement.
The ideal candidate must have:
- 7-10 years’ experience as a creative in agencies, with a deep understanding of social media strategy, concepting and executions, branding & design concepting and executions, and digital media;
- Experience with professional sports, athletes, influencers and/or ecommerce A+;
- A proven track record of concepting and executing campaigns that span multiple mediums;
- Unparalleled storytelling and presentation skills;
- Persuasive and tactful;
- Experience managing and hiring growing teams;
- Network of creative freelancers (creators, designers, videographers, editors, animators, etc.)
- An obsessive dedication to detail & creative excellence;
- The ability to effectively collaborate with team members from other disciplines;
- Leadership skills that inspire.
